Deliverance Refuge Temple Apostolic, Inc. What We Believe.........
We believe the Bible is written by men, inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and the doctrine. We believe in one Lord one Faith and one Baptism according to Ephesians 4:5. We believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus, according to Act 2:38 and Matthew 28:19, Colossian 3:17. We believe that what so ever we do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the father by him. We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 4:12)
We believe in the death, burial and resurrection, Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again. We believe water baptism a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in God. We believe in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
We believe that one should bring their tithes and offering into the house of the Lord, according to Malachi 3:10
We believe every baptize believer should be in a growing relationship with God by obeying his word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ as saints of God, we are more than conquerors and over comers pressing towards the mark for the high calling of God and look forward for the coming of the Lord.
We believe as the scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God (the Father) who has chosen to reveal himself as, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4 - Isaiah 43:10,11, Matthew 28:19 - Luke 3:22
VERSES OF THE DAY
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumble and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise up against me, in this will I be confident.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple
